Ingredients:
- ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup butter (softened)
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8-inch square baking dish with nonstick spray.
Cream together the peanut butter, butter, sugar, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl using an electric mixer or stand mixer. Beat for about 3 minutes, until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Add the wet ingredients: beat in the egg, milk, and vanilla extract until everything is well combined.
Mix the dry ingredients: in a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, mixing slowly until incorporated. Increase speed and beat for another minute.
Fold in the chocolate chips gently with a spatula.
Spread the batter evenly in your prepared pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool completely before cutting into 16 bars.
These bars should come out soft, rich, and full of peanut butter and chocolate goodness! If you're planning to try them, let me know how it goes!
