One Hour Disappearing Fat Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1½ cups warm water (115-125 degrees F)
  • 2 tablespoons softened butter
  • 1 teaspoon table salt
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for kneading
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons ranch seasoning
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ⅓ cup crumbled bacon pieces
  • 1-2 tablespoons parsley or minced chives, for garnish
  • Sea salt flakes, for sprinkling

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve the sugar and yeast in the warm water. Let stand for 5 minutes, or until foamy.
  2. Add the butter, salt, and 3 cups of flour. Mix until combined.
  3. Add additional flour, ¼ cup at a time, until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl and is slightly sticky to the touch.
  4. Knead the dough for 3-5 minutes, until smooth.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place in a warm spot to rise for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  7. Punch down the dough and divide it into 20 equal pieces.
  8. Roll each piece into a ball and place in the prepared baking dish.
  9. In a small bowl, melt the butter and whisk in the ranch seasoning.
  10. Brush the melted butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  11. Sprinkle the rolls with the shredded cheese, bacon crumbles, and sea salt.
  12. Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and let the rolls rise in a warm spot for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  13. Bake for 13-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  14. Brush the rolls with additional melted butter, if desired.
  15. Let cool slightly before serving.

Enjoy!
