Summer Snack Board



Ingredients:

  • 2 large heirloom tomatoes, cut into wedges (about 8 pieces each)
  • 2 ripe peaches, pitted and cut into wedges (about 8 pieces each)
  • 1 large ball of burrata cheese
  • 4 ounces very thinly sliced prosciutto (8 to 9 strips)
  • Fresh oregano leaves
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Sea salt flakes
  • Fresh cracked black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Platter:

    • Arrange the tomato wedges and peach wedges on a large platter. Spread them out in a pleasing arrangement, making sure to leave some space for the other ingredients.
  2. Add the Prosciutto:

    • Tear the prosciutto into smaller strips and place them among the fruit wedges, nestling them gently so they don’t overpower the other ingredients.
  3. Add the Burrata:

    • Carefully break the burrata ball into heaping spoonfuls and dot them around the platter. The creamy texture will complement the sweet peaches and tangy tomatoes beautifully.
  4. Add Fresh Herbs:

    • Scatter fresh oregano and basil leaves over the top. These herbs will add a burst of fresh flavor.
  5. Season and Drizzle:

    • Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the entire platter.
    • Sprinkle sea salt flakes and fresh cracked black pepper to taste.
  6. Serve:

    • Serve immediately, allowing guests to enjoy the fresh flavors and textures.
