GOAT CHEESE CROSTINI

 


Ingredients

  • 1 French baguette
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 10 oz goat cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 12 oz strawberries, sliced
  • ¼ cup honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice baguette into ½-inch pieces.
  3. Brush each side with olive oil and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 5-7 minutes, then flip and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. In a medium bowl, beat together the goat cheese and cream cheese until smooth.
  6. Spread the goat cheese mixture on each slice of bread.
  7. Top with strawberries and a drizzle of honey.

Optional

  • For a sweeter version, you can add more honey to the goat cheese mixture.
  • You can also add other toppings, such as chopped nuts, seeds, or fresh herbs.
  • To make this recipe ahead of time, assemble the toasts but do not drizzle with honey. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. When ready to serve, drizzle with honey and enjoy!
