Peach Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • 1 recipe Homemade Lemonade or 8 cups of your favorite lemonade
  • 4-5 peaches
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Lemonade:

    • Follow the directions for your homemade lemonade recipe and set it aside or chill it if it's already prepared.
  2. Prepare Peaches:

    • Wash the peaches thoroughly.
    • Slice the peaches and remove the pits.
    • Reserve about ¼ of the peach slices for later use (for garnish).
  3. Blend Peach Mixture:

    • Take the remaining peach slices and add them to a blender.
    • Pour in 1 cup of the prepared lemonade.
    • Add 1 tablespoon of fresh mint leaves to the blender as well.
    • Blend the mixture until smooth.
  4. Strain (Optional):

    • If you prefer a smoother consistency without the pulp, you can strain the blended peach mixture through a fine strainer or sieve into a pitcher.
  5. Combine Ingredients:

    • Pour the blended peach mixture (strained or unstrained) into the pitcher with the remaining lemonade.
  6. Mix Well:

    • Stir the peach mixture and the lemonade together until well combined.
  7. Add Garnishes:

    • Add the reserved peach slices and some lemon slices to the pitcher for visual appeal.
  8. Serve:

    • If desired, add ice to the pitcher to chill the lemonade without dilution, or simply serve the lemonade over ice in individual glasses.
  9. Garnish Glasses:

    • Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint and a slice of peach for an elegant touch.

Tips:

  • To enhance the flavor, you can let the peach slices macerate in the lemonade for a while before serving.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more lemonade or blending in a bit of honey or simple syrup if needed.
  • For a stronger mint flavor, muddle the mint leaves with a bit of sugar before blending with the peaches.
  • If you prefer a less pulpy texture, strain the peach mixture more thoroughly.
