Easy Gluten-Free Fried Mushrooms


Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces mushrooms
  • ½ cup gluten-free bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • Light oil spray

Instructions:

  1. Lightly wash mushrooms and pat them dry thoroughly.
  2. In a bowl, combine gluten-free bread crumbs, nutritional yeast, salt, and garlic powder. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, scramble the eggs.
  4. Dip mushrooms into the egg mixture, coating them well.
  5. Transfer mushrooms from the egg mixture to the bread crumb mixture, tossing gently to coat evenly.
  6. Lightly spray the air fryer tray with oil. Arrange breaded mushrooms in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
  7. Spray the tops of the mushrooms with more oil.
  8. Air fry at 380ยบ F (190ยบ C) for 6 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Serve hot as is or with your favorite dipping sauce.
