Ingredients:
- 1 x 400g pack Taste the Difference pork sausages
- 2 large onions, peeled and cut into even slices about 1.5cm thick
- 4 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp Chinese five spice
Instructions:
Get Ahead:
- Soak bamboo skewers in water for at least 1 hour before grilling.
Prepare the Grill:
- Preheat your barbecue or grill.
Skewer and Grill:
- Thread the sausages onto two sets of two parallel skewers, "plank style". Do the same with the onion slices.
Make the Glaze:
- In a bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, soy sauce, honey, and Chinese five spice to create the glaze.
Grill with Glaze:
- Cook the skewered sausages and onion slices on the preheated grill for 25-30 minutes.
- During grilling, turn the skewers occasionally and brush them with the prepared glaze every few minutes.
Serve:
- Once cooked through and nicely glazed, slide off the skewers and arrange on a serving platter.
