Chili Crunch Garlic Bread

Ingredients

Chili Crunch Garlic Butter:

  • 4 Tbsp butter (1/2 stick), room temperature
  • 4-6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp chili crunch
  • 2 tsp garlic powder

The Rest of the Garlic Bread:

  • 1 baguette
  • 3-4 cups Italian cheese blend (e.g., parmesan, mozzarella, asiago, fontina)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare Chili Crunch Garlic Butter:

    • Mince the garlic.
    • In a small bowl, combine room-temperature butter, minced garlic, chili crunch, and garlic powder. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Prepare the Garlic Bread:

    • Cut the baguette into quarters, then split each quarter lengthwise, giving you 8 pieces.
    • Place the bread slices on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper.
    • Evenly spread the chili crunch garlic butter on each slice using a spoon.
    • Top each slice with Italian cheese blend. You can adjust the amount of cheese to your preference. A mix that includes parmesan is recommended for best results.
    • Optional: Drizzle a little extra chili crunch on top of the cheese for added flavor.
  4. Bake:

    • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and starting to brown. Check frequently after 10 minutes to prevent burning.
  5. Finish and Serve:

    • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
    • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and basil before serving.

Notes

  • Butter Texture: If your butter isn’t fully soft, microwave it briefly. It’s okay if a small portion melts, but mostly it should be solid for easy mixing.
  • Cheese Options: Feel free to experiment with different cheese blends like Monterey Jack and cheddar. Parmesan is a must for its excellent pairing with chili crunch.
  • Bread Choice: A classic French baguette works best. Avoid undercooked baguettes from stores that need additional baking.

Enjoy your homemade garlic bread with its spicy kick from the chili crunch!
