Ingredients
Chili Crunch Garlic Butter:
- 4 Tbsp butter (1/2 stick), room temperature
- 4-6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp chili crunch
- 2 tsp garlic powder
The Rest of the Garlic Bread:
- 1 baguette
- 3-4 cups Italian cheese blend (e.g., parmesan, mozzarella, asiago, fontina)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Prepare Chili Crunch Garlic Butter:
- Mince the garlic.
- In a small bowl, combine room-temperature butter, minced garlic, chili crunch, and garlic powder. Stir until well mixed.
Prepare the Garlic Bread:
- Cut the baguette into quarters, then split each quarter lengthwise, giving you 8 pieces.
- Place the bread slices on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper.
- Evenly spread the chili crunch garlic butter on each slice using a spoon.
- Top each slice with Italian cheese blend. You can adjust the amount of cheese to your preference. A mix that includes parmesan is recommended for best results.
- Optional: Drizzle a little extra chili crunch on top of the cheese for added flavor.
Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and starting to brown. Check frequently after 10 minutes to prevent burning.
Finish and Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and basil before serving.
Notes
- Butter Texture: If your butter isn’t fully soft, microwave it briefly. It’s okay if a small portion melts, but mostly it should be solid for easy mixing.
- Cheese Options: Feel free to experiment with different cheese blends like Monterey Jack and cheddar. Parmesan is a must for its excellent pairing with chili crunch.
- Bread Choice: A classic French baguette works best. Avoid undercooked baguettes from stores that need additional baking.
Enjoy your homemade garlic bread with its spicy kick from the chili crunch!
