Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry dough
- 1 wheel of French Brie
- 1/4 cup strawberry preserves
- 2 teaspoons chili crisp
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 apple, sliced
- 1 pear, sliced
- Tangerines
- Storebought or homemade crackers
- Honey, for drizzling
Optional additions:
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or almonds
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions:
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare filling: In a small bowl, combine strawberry preserves and chili crisp.
- Assemble pastry: On a parchment-lined baking sheet, roll out puff pastry. Place Brie in the center and top with strawberry preserve mixture.
- Fold pastry: Carefully fold puff pastry over Brie. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with flaky sea salt (optional).
- Bake: Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Serve: Serve immediately with sliced apple, pear, tangerines, crackers, and honey.
