Fudgy Brownie Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 10 tablespoons salted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips, melted
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole, unmelted milk chocolate chips
Optional additions:
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts, pecans)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a metal 9x9 inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and sugar: Melt butter and whisk in granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add wet ingredients: Add eggs and vanilla extract. Whisk for 1 minute.
  4. Melt milk chocolate chips: Melt milk chocolate chips in a microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between. Whisk into brownie batter until combined and smooth.
  5. Combine dry ingredients: Stir in flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, salt, and any optional additions.
  6. Bake: Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth out. Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool in pan for 30 minutes before slicing.

Optional additions:

  • For a richer texture: Use a combination of butter and brown sugar.
  • For a spicier kick: Increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
