Pasta Cream Sauce


Ingredients:

  • 500ml double cream/heavy cream
  • 50g freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat the Cream:

    • Heat the cream in a saucepan over low heat. Be careful not to let it boil.
  2. Add the Cheese:

    • Remove the pan from the heat.
    • Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until it's melted and the sauce is smooth.
  3. Season with Salt:

    • Taste the sauce and add salt as needed. Remember, salt is crucial for enhancing the flavor.
  4. Combine with Pasta:

    • Add cooked pasta directly to the saucepan with the sauce.
    • Gently toss the pasta in the sauce, using a spoon or by shaking the pan.
    • If the sauce is too thick, add up to ⅓ cup of the reserved pasta water to loosen it.
  5. Serve Immediately:

    • Serve the pasta with the creamy Parmesan sauce while it's hot.
