Ingredients:
- 32 oz waxy potatoes (about 4 large potatoes)
- 1½ teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Low-fat cooking spray or olive oil
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
- Wash the potatoes and pat them dry. Cut them into wedges, about 1/2-inch thick.
- In a small bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the potato wedges in a large bowl and toss with the spice mixture.
- Spread the potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spray the potato wedges with low-fat cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the potato wedges are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve immediately.
Tips:
- For extra crispy potato wedges, soak them in ice water for 30 minutes before baking. This will help to remove some of the starch from the potatoes.
- Be sure to dry the potato wedges thoroughly before baking. This will help them to crisp up.
- Don't overcrowd the baking sheet. Make sure to leave enough space between the potato wedges so that they can cook evenly.
- Turn the potato wedges halfway through baking for an even crispier finish.
Enjoy!
