Best EVER Potato Wedges

Ingredients:

  • 32 oz waxy potatoes (about 4 large potatoes)
  • 1½ teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Low-fat cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  2. Wash the potatoes and pat them dry. Cut them into wedges, about 1/2-inch thick.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the potato wedges in a large bowl and toss with the spice mixture.
  5. Spread the potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Spray the potato wedges with low-fat cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the potato wedges are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve immediately.

Tips:

  • For extra crispy potato wedges, soak them in ice water for 30 minutes before baking. This will help to remove some of the starch from the potatoes.
  • Be sure to dry the potato wedges thoroughly before baking. This will help them to crisp up.
  • Don't overcrowd the baking sheet. Make sure to leave enough space between the potato wedges so that they can cook evenly.
  • Turn the potato wedges halfway through baking for an even crispier finish.

Enjoy!
