Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
- In a bowl, whisk together the water, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, soy sauce, salt, liquid smoke flavoring, cayenne pepper, and black pepper until combined.
- Place the meat in a resealable bag or container and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag or container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
- When you're ready to cook the meat, remove it from the marinade and discard the marinade. Cook the meat as desired.
