Fajita Marinade

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the water, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, soy sauce, salt, liquid smoke flavoring, cayenne pepper, and black pepper until combined.
  2. Place the meat in a resealable bag or container and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag or container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
  3. When you're ready to cook the meat, remove it from the marinade and discard the marinade. Cook the meat as desired.

This marinade is versatile and can be used on a variety of meats, including chicken, beef, pork, and seafood. It is especially well-suited for grilling or smoking.
