Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 onion, minced
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 (12 count) package Hawaiian sweet rolls, split
- 1 pound sliced deli ham
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Cook and stir the onion in the melted butter until softened, about 5-10 minutes. Add the mustard, poppy seeds, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook and stir for another 5 minutes.
- In a 9x13-inch baking dish, arrange the roll bottoms. Spoon 2/3 of the onion mixture over the rolls. Add a slice of ham and cheese to each roll.
- Place the roll tops over the cheese layer and brush the remaining onion mixture over the tops.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- Remove the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the roll tops are lightly browned.
