RESTAURANT STYLE TABLESIDE GUACAMOLE

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe avocados
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 tomato, seeded and chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, minced (optional)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 red onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro leaves, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, mash the avocados with a fork until they reach your desired consistency.
  2. Stir in the lime juice, tomato, jalapeño (if using), garlic, red onion, and cilantro.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Serve immediately with your favorite dippers, such as tortilla chips, pita bread, or crackers.

Tips:

  • For a smoother guacamole, mash the avocados with a potato masher or food processor.
  • If you like your guacamole spicy, add more jalapeño pepper to taste.
  • To prevent the guacamole from browning, cover it with a layer of plastic wrap pressed directly onto the surface of the guacamole.
  • Guacamole can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
