Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 6 lemons)
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups cold water
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the blueberries and lemon juice. Cook, stirring occasionally, until most of the blueberries have popped, about 7 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher. Press on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much blueberry puree as possible.
- Add the water and sugar to the pitcher and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Chill until ready to serve.
