Homemade Pizza

 

Ingredients:

  • Pizza dough (you can make your own or use store-bought)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Toppings of your choice (such as pepperoni, sliced bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, olives, etc.)
  • Olive oil, for brushing

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to the highest temperature it can go (usually around 500°F or 260°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat as well.

  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer the dough to a pizza peel or a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.

  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then add your desired toppings.

  5. Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza stone in the oven, or place the baking sheet directly on the oven rack.

  6. Bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

  8. Optionally, brush the crust with olive oil and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and dried herbs like oregano or basil for extra flavor.
