Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.

  5. Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

  6. Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, turning them to coat in the creamy sauce. Let them simmer in the sauce for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.

  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired, then serve the creamy garlic Parmesan chicken hot over cooked pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
