Vegetable Stir Fry

 


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, broccoli florets, carrots, snap peas, mushrooms)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  2. Add mixed vegetables to the skillet or wok. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), hoisin sauce (if using), and sesame oil.

  4. Pour the sauce over the vegetables in the skillet or wok. Stir to coat evenly and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

  5. Remove from heat and serve the vegetable stir-fry hot over cooked rice or noodles.

  6. Optionally, garnish with sliced green onions, sesame seeds, or chopped cilantro before serving.
