Beef Stir fry recipe

 

Ingredients:

  • For the Stir-Fry:

    • 3 ounces beef, sliced
    • 1 red bell pepper, diced
    • 2 celery stalks, sliced
    • 2 cups broccoli florets
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • For the Chinese Sauce:

    • 3/4 cup beef stock
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
    • 1 tbsp cornstarch
    • 1 tbsp water
    • 1 tsp pepper
    • Pinch of ginger powder

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Beef:

    • In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with 1 tbsp cornstarch and 1 tbsp water. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Cook the Beef:

    • Heat 2 tbsp sesame oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium-high heat.
    • Add the marinated beef and sauté until cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce:

    • In a bowl, combine beef stock, soy sauce, oyster sauce, 1 tbsp cornstarch, water, pepper, and a pinch of ginger powder. Mix well to dissolve the cornstarch.
  4. Stir-Fry the Vegetables:

    • In the same pan, add a little more sesame oil if needed. Add diced onion, minced garlic, red bell pepper, celery, and broccoli.
    • Stir-fry the vegetables until they are cooked but still crunchy.
  5. Combine and Serve:

    • Pour the prepared sauce into the pan with the vegetables.
    • Return the cooked beef to the pan and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
    • Serve hot over rice or noodles, if desired.
