Salmon Recipe (with Soy Glaze)

Ingredients:

For the Marinade:

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grated ginger
  • 3 minced garlic cloves

For the Salmon and Assembly:

  • 2 (4 ounce) skin-on, boneless salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons chili crisp (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon dry roasted peanuts, minced
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 thinly sliced green onion

Instructions:

  1. Make the Marinade: Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic in a small bowl.
  2. Marinate the Salmon: Cut shallow slits into the salmon fillets, being careful not to cut through the skin. Place the fillets in a resealable bag, pour half the marinade over them, and seal the bag. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
  3. Air Fry the Salmon: Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the marinated salmon fillets, skin-side down, in the basket, curling the fillets slightly. Spray the tops with cooking spray. Air fry at 380°F for 8 minutes.
  4. Make the Glaze: While the salmon is cooking, pour the remaining marinade into a small pot and simmer for 5-6 minutes to reduce. Stir in chili crisp, if using.
  5. Serve: Remove the salmon from the air fryer and serve skin-side down with steamed rice. Drizzle with the reduced marinade, and top with peanuts, sesame seeds, and green onions.

Enjoy your delicious Air Fryer Salmon!
