Loaded Bagel Breakfast Sandwiches Recipes

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bacon or 2 frozen sausage patties
  • 2 bagels, sliced in half
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • Avocado slices and salsa for topping, if desired

Instructions:

  1. Prepare bacon or sausage in a skillet according to package directions. 
  2. Once cooked, remove from skillet and keep warm. 
  3. Drain excess grease from the skillet but do not wipe it clean.
  4. Place the bagel halves sliced-side down in the skillet and toast over medium heat until lightly browned. 
  5. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  6. Cook eggs in the same skillet to your preference (recommended: over-easy or over-medium).
  7. Layer each breakfast sandwich as follows: bottom bagel slice, half of the cooked meat, one cooked egg, a slice of cheese, toppings as desired, and the top bagel slice.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
