Carrot Cake Smoothie


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup oat milk (or other non-dairy milk)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground ginger
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup chopped spinach
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Add liquids: Add oat milk and vanilla extract to the base of your blender.
  2. Add fruits and vegetables: Add frozen banana, frozen pineapple, shredded carrots, spinach, and chia seeds.
  3. Add dairy and spices: Add Greek yogurt, almond butter, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg.
  4. Blend: Blend until smooth and creamy. Add a bit more oat milk if needed.
  5. Sweeten (optional): Add honey to taste, if desired.

Optional additions:

  • For extra protein: Add a scoop of protein powder.
  • For a thicker smoothie: Add a handful of ice cubes.
  • For a tangy flavor: Add a squeeze of lemon or lime juice.
  • For a tropical twist: Add a splash of coconut milk or a pinch of turmeric.
