- 2 boneless salmon fillets
- 250 grams dried spaghetti
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 small shallot, diced
- 1 tablespoon capers
- 1 fresh lemon
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
- Black pepper
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
- Cook pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente, reserving 2 cups pasta water.
- Cook salmon: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon, skin-side down, for 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Sauté vegetables: In the same skillet, melt butter and cook shallots until softened. Add garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Deglaze with white wine. Add capers and cook for 1 minute.
- Combine pasta and sauce: Add cooked pasta to skillet. Toss to coat with sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired consistency.
- Serve: Serve pasta with salmon, topped with fresh parsley, lemon slices, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese (if desired).
