- 300g (1 1/2 cups) granulated sugar
- 75g (3/4 cup) Dutch process cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup plus 3 tablespoons (about 40g) all-purpose flour
- 150g dark chocolate (55-70% cocoa solids), optional, chopped or ground in a food processor
