Creamy Tomato Ravioli Pasta


Ingredients:

  • 1 package of fresh or frozen Olivier Ricotta & Spinach Ravioli
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Ravioli:

    • Bring a medium to large pot of salted water to a boil. If using frozen ravioli, there’s no need to thaw it first.
    • Add a splash of oil to prevent sticking.
    • Gently place the ravioli into the boiling water. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
    • Cook fresh ravioli for about 3 minutes or until they float to the top. If the ravioli contains meat, cook for about 6 minutes.
    • Carefully drain the ravioli and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Sauce:

    • While the ravioli is cooking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
    • Stir in the cottage or ricotta cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for a few minutes until the cheese is heated through and the sauce is well combined.
  3. Combine and Serve:

    • Gently toss the cooked ravioli with the sauce in the saucepan or serve the sauce over the ravioli on individual plates.
    • Garnish with chopped parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired.
