Chocolate Strawberry Banana Smoothie


Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 banana, fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup plain, unsweetened vegan yogurt
  • 1/2 cup plain, unsweetened soy milk
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Optional additions:
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1/4 cup spinach or kale
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds

Instructions:

  1. Add ingredients: Add all ingredients to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth: Blend until smooth. Divide between 2 glasses to serve.

Optional additions:

  • For extra protein: Add a scoop of chocolate protein powder.
  • For a boost of nutrients: Add spinach or kale.
  • For a thicker texture: Use both frozen strawberries and frozen banana.
  • For added fiber: Add chia seeds.
