Easy Protein Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
Optional additions:
  • 1/4 cup chopped spinach or kale
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds
  • 1/4 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 block silken tofu
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions:

  1. Blend: Blend all ingredients until smooth. Serve immediately!
  2. Meal prep: For meal prep, throw all ingredients except milk into a baggie and freeze. When ready to have your smoothie, empty the contents of the baggie into a blender, add milk, and blend.

Optional additions:

  • For extra nutrients: Add spinach, kale, nut butter, chia seeds, flax seeds, cottage cheese, or silken tofu.
  • For added flavor: Add cinnamon or nutmeg.
