Teriyaki Beef

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams rump steak
  • 250 grams peas
  • 4 carrots
  • 200 grams bean sprouts
  • 1 broccoli
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cl beef broth
  • 20 grams brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 cl soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sake
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Marinade: In a saucepan, combine beef broth, brown sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, sake, and ginger. Bring to a boil, then let cool.
  2. Marinate Steak: Add rump steak strips to the marinade and let them sit in a cool place for 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare Vegetables: Wash and peel vegetables. Cut into pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook Vegetables: Brown all vegetables in olive oil in a pan, ensuring they remain crisp.
  5. Cook Beef: In a wok, combine marinated beef with the cooked vegetables. Cook for a few minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve: Serve the teriyaki beef immediately.
