Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced.
- 1/2 green pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 cup roast beef, shredded
- 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup provolone
cheese, shredded - 2 teaspoons horseradish (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste (or steak spice blend)
Instructions:
- Sauté Vegetables: Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add onion and green pepper, cook until softened. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Combine Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables, roast beef, cream cheese, mayonnaise, provolone cheese, horseradish (if using), Worcestershire sauce (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Bake: Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Bake in a preheated 350°F (180°C) oven for 15-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving Suggestions:
- Serve with garlic bread or toasted baguette slices.
- Add a side of your favorite chips or crackers.
