Pot Roast Beef Philly Cheese Steak Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced.
  • 1/2 green pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup roast beef, shredded
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded  
  • 2 teaspoons horseradish (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste (or steak spice blend)

Instructions:

  1. Sauté Vegetables: Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add onion and green pepper, cook until softened. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables, roast beef, cream cheese, mayonnaise, provolone cheese, horseradish (if using), Worcestershire sauce (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Bake: Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Bake in a preheated 350°F (180°C) oven for 15-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve with garlic bread or toasted baguette slices.
  • Add a side of your favorite chips or crackers.
