- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 4 skinless boneless chicken tenders, cut into ½-inch strips

Instructions:
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly coat it with cooking spray to prevent sticking.Prepare the Egg and Coating
In a shallow dish, beat the egg and set aside.
In a large zip-top freezer bag, combine panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, kosher salt, and black pepper. Seal the bag and shake to mix the ingredients thoroughly.Coat the Chicken
- Take the chicken strips and dip them into the beaten egg, making sure each piece is coated evenly.
- Then, place the egg-covered chicken strips into the panko mixture bag. Seal the bag and shake to coat each strip with the breadcrumb blend.
Arrange the Chicken
- Place the coated chicken tenders onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Lightly spray the top of each chicken strip with cooking spray to help them crisp up during baking.
Bake
Bake the chicken tenders in the preheated oven for 7 minutes. After 7 minutes, flip the chicken tenders over and continue baking for an additional 7 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked (no longer pink in the center).Broil for Extra Crispiness
Adjust the oven rack to about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the broiler.
Broil the chicken tenders for 1-2 minutes to achieve a crispy, golden finish.Serve
Remove the chicken tenders from the oven and serve immediately. Enjoy!
