Mango Coconut Milk Smoothie


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups frozen mango
  • 1 medium banana, sliced
  • 1 cup coconut milk (can use unsweetened or canned)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes (if needed)

Instructions:

  1. Add ingredients: Place 1 cup of frozen mango, the sliced banana, coconut milk, lemon juice, and honey (if using) into a blender.
  2. Blend: Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Add the second cup of frozen mango and blend until fully incorporated. If the smoothie is too thin, add 2-4 ice cubes and blend again until thickened.
  3. Serve: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes:

  • Leftovers: You can store any leftovers in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 day. Shake to re-integrate before drinking.
  • Thick Smoothie: For a thicker texture, use a frozen banana and add a bit more cold water if necessary.
  • Add-ins: You can add a scoop of protein powder or collagen peptides for an extra nutritional boost.
  • Coconut Milk: You can use unsweetened coconut milk or canned coconut milk. The canned version will make the smoothie richer and creamier due to its higher fat content.
