Ingredients:
- 4 Natural Delights Medjool Dates
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 4 large eggs
Instructions:
- Using a small knife, open the dates and remove the pit. Dice the dates into small pieces (or slice them in half if preferred).
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat and sauté the diced dates for about 5 minutes, until they are slightly caramelized.
- Whisk the eggs in a bowl, then pour them over the sautéed dates. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes until the eggs are set.
- If desired, fold the omelette before serving and sprinkle with sesame seeds for an extra touch.
Notes:
- Feel free to double or triple the recipe to suit your needs.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a pan over medium heat.
