📝 Ingredients

US Customary

  • 4 boneless pork loin chops

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • ½ teaspoon coarse ground black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • ½ cup heavy cream

👩‍🍳 Instructions

🔪 Step 1: Season the Pork

Pat pork chops dry and season both sides with:

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Paprika

🔥 Step 2: Sear

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add:

  • Butter

  • Vegetable oil
Once hot and shimmering, add pork chops and sear for 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through.
    Internal temp should reach 145°F.

🥄 Step 3: Make the Creamy Dijon Sauce

Remove pork chops and set aside (tent with foil).
To the same skillet, whisk in:

  • Chicken broth

  • Dijon mustard

  • Heavy cream
Simmer for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.

🍽️ Step 4: Serve

Return pork chops to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer gently for 1 minute to warm through.

💡 Pro Tips

  • Don’t overcrowd the pan—sear in batches if needed.

  • For a thicker sauce, simmer an extra 2–3 minutes or add 1 tsp cornstarch slurry.

  • Swap pork for chicken breasts if preferred!

🍷 Perfect Pairings

  • Mashed potatoes or buttered noodles

  • Garlic green beans or roasted asparagus

  • A chilled glass of Chardonnay or dry Riesling
