Ingredients:
- 1 cup warm water (95-110 degrees F)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (or any cooking oil)
- 1 1/2 cups pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or pizza blend)
- 1 cup pepperoni, cut into quarters
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a mini skull baking tin with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let stand for 5-10 minutes, or until frothy.
- Stir in olive oil, salt, and 1 1/2 cups flour. Mix until a dough forms.
- Add remaining flour, 1/4 cup at a time, until dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
- Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, or until smooth.
- Roll dough out into a rectangle that is large enough to cover the skull cavities in the baking tin.
- Cut out skull shapes from the dough using a cookie cutter or a sharp knife.
- Place each skull shape in a cavity in the baking tin.
- Top each skull with pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni.
- Pinch the edges of the dough together to seal the skull pockets.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the skull pockets are golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Enjoy!
