Chocolate Bliss Balls

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 3 pitted dates
  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon reishi powder
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt
Optional additions:
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or almonds
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries or cherries
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Combine ingredients: Add almond butter, maple syrup, dates, cacao powder, reishi powder, maca powder, vanilla extract, and sea salt to a food processor or blender.
  2. Pulse until combined: Pulse for 3-5 minutes, stopping occasionally to help ingredients come together in the center of the blender.
  3. Form balls: Roll the mixture into balls.
  4. Optional toppings: Roll balls in your choice of coconut flakes, cacao powder, cacao nibs, or turmeric.
  5. Refrigerate: Keep refrigerated for up to 1 week.

Optional additions:

  • For extra flavor: Add chopped walnuts or almonds, dried cranberries or cherries, or ground cinnamon.
  • For a sweeter taste: Add an extra tablespoon of maple syrup or honey.
  • For a spicier kick: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper.
