Ingredients:
- 8 ounces almond butter
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 3 pitted dates
- 2 tablespoons cacao powder
- 1/2 tablespoon reishi powder
- 1 teaspoon maca powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or almonds
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries or cherries
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Combine ingredients: Add almond butter, maple syrup, dates, cacao powder, reishi powder, maca powder, vanilla extract, and sea salt to a food processor or blender.
- Pulse until combined: Pulse for 3-5 minutes, stopping occasionally to help ingredients come together in the center of the blender.
- Form balls: Roll the mixture into balls.
- Optional toppings: Roll balls in your choice of coconut flakes, cacao powder, cacao nibs, or turmeric.
- Refrigerate: Keep refrigerated for up to 1 week.
Optional additions:
- For extra flavor: Add chopped walnuts or almonds, dried cranberries or cherries, or ground cinnamon.
- For a sweeter taste: Add an extra tablespoon of maple syrup or honey.
- For a spicier kick: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper.
