Italian Sheet Pan Steak and Veggies


Ingredients:

Italian Butter Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Steak and Veggies:

  • 1 cup cherry or grape tomatoes
  • 2 medium carrots, sliced
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 medium red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 sirloin steaks, about 1 pound
  • 1 medium lemon, zested and juiced

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Pan:

    • Grease a sheet pan with cooking spray.
    • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Make the Sauce:

    • Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
    • Whisk in olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roast the Veggies:

    • Spread vegetables on the sheet pan.
    • Drizzle with 2/3 of the butter mixture.
    • Roast in the oven for 15 minutes.
  4. Broil the Steak:

    • Place steaks on the sheet pan, avoiding the vegetables.
    • Drizzle with the remaining butter mixture.
    • Broil for 4-5 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.
  5. Serve:

    • Drizzle vegetables with lemon juice and zest.
    • Serve hot with steak.
