Bang Bang Chicken Sandwich


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups thinly sliced red cabbage
  • 1 large carrot, julienned
  • ¼ cup freshly chopped cilantro
  • 1 recipe bang bang sauce, divided
  • 1 recipe bang bang chicken, prepared, warm (or store-bought breaded chicken tenders or patties)
  • 4 hamburger buns, toasted

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Slaw: In a medium bowl, combine the red cabbage, carrots, cilantro, and ¼ cup of the bang bang sauce. Toss to coat.
  2. Assemble the Sliders:
    • Place 2-3 pieces of warm bang bang chicken on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
    • Top with a spoonful of the cabbage slaw.
    • Drizzle with additional bang bang sauce.
    • Place the top half of the bun on each slider.

Tips:

  • For a spicier kick, add more chili oil or hot sauce to the bang bang sauce.
  • Customize the sliders by adding other toppings like avocado, jalapeños, or pickled onions.
  • For a vegetarian option, substitute the chicken with crispy tofu or tempeh.
