
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 cup liquid base (choose one: almond milk, coconut water, Greek yogurt, or regular dairy milk)
- Optional: 1-2 tsp honey or sweetener of choice (if desired)
- Optional add-ins: 1 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter, 1 tsp chia seeds or flaxseeds, or a handful of spinach for extra nutrition
Instructions:
- Prepare your ingredients: Peel the banana and cut it into smaller pieces. If using fresh blueberries, rinse them well.
- Add liquid to the blender: Pour your chosen liquid base (such as almond milk or yogurt) into the blender first.
- Add fruits and optional add-ins: Add the banana pieces and blueberries to the blender. If using any optional ingredients like peanut butter, chia seeds, or spinach, add them now.
- Blend: Blend on high for 30-60 seconds or until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust sweetness: Taste your smoothie and if needed, add honey or your preferred sweetener and blend again.
- Serve: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy!
Tip: To make it extra creamy, use frozen banana slices or frozen blueberries!
