
Ingredients:
- 5 eggs
- 8 oz ham steak, chopped
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 3 green onions, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spray the pie shell with nonstick spray.
- Sprinkle Swiss and cheddar cheeses evenly on the bottom of the pie shell (reserve a little for topping).
- Add chopped green onions and ham over the cheese.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, almond milk, heavy cream, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture into the pie shell, over the ham and cheese. Top with the reserved cheese.
- Place the quiche on a baking sheet and bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until set and lightly browned on top.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing.
Recipe Notes:
- If the top of the quiche starts to brown too quickly, cover it loosely with foil and continue baking until fully cooked.
