Baked Brie with Sun Dried Tomato and Pine Nuts


Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 oz) round French-style brie
  • 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, drained and chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, pressed or minced
  • 1 tablespoon basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare Brie: Cut along the top edge of the brie and remove the top rind.
  3. Bake Brie: Place the brie in a small baking dish or cast-iron skillet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  4. Add Topping: In a small bowl, combine the sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, and half of the basil. Spoon this mixture over the hot brie.
  5. Sprinkle and Serve: Sprinkle with toasted pine nuts and the remaining basil.
  6. Serve: Serve immediately with bread, crackers, or vegetables.
