New Potatoes with Creamy Dill Sauce


Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450 g) new potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
  • Fresh chopped dill (to taste)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Potatoes:

    • Add the new potatoes to a pot of boiling water. Cook until fork-tender, about 10 to 15 minutes.
    • Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  2. Prepare the Creamy Sauce:

    • Add the butter and heavy cream to the potatoes. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
    • Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cream sauce has thickened enough to coat the back of a spoon.
  3. Season and Serve:

    • Remove the pot from heat. Stir in the salt, pepper, and fresh chopped dill to taste.
    • Serve immediately and enjoy!
